A summary, not legal advice.

WHY IT MATTERS

Nobody scrolls through twelve months of transactions to pick out the recurring ones. SubSweep takes the CSV you export from your bank's website, separates weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly charges from everyday spending, totals them per year, and flags services that raised their price since you signed up and charges from the last 14 days that may still be refundable. It says statements are analysed in memory and never stored, and it supports CSV exports from CBA, Westpac, NAB, ANZ, ING, Up and other major Australian banks.

BUILD FROM THIS

  • A once-a-year clean-out of recurring charges before a move or the new year
  • A to-do list that leads straight to cancel links for 30+ services and a pre-written refund email
  • With Pro, monthly email monitoring of new charges and price changes

WHO IT'S FOR

Australian resident
wants the real yearly cost of streaming, gym and software subscriptions
Student or working-holiday visitor in Australia
clears lingering charges before leaving
Household budgeter
catches price rises and refundable charges before they slip past

START IN 5 MINUTES

# Open https://subsweep.com.au/ and press 'Scan my statement — free →'
# Export a transactions CSV (Date, Description, Amount) from your bank's website and upload it
# The free scan shows your top 3 leaks; every subscription, alerts and monitoring need Pro ($9.99 a month)

CAVEATS

  • Source availability unconfirmed — the site links no repository; license unconfirmed
  • Free: statement scan, top 3 leaks, cancel guides / Pro: $9.99 a month, cancel anytime (the page shows only a '$' sign)
  • Australian bank CSVs only — not for Korean bank statements; direct bank connection (CDR) is 'coming soon'
  • If you create an account only the derived subscription list is saved, not raw transactions; the site states it is not financial advice
  • A new service shown on HN 2026-09-13 (1 point, 0 comments); no track record yet
