WHY IT MATTERS

Even small manufacturers end up with quotes, orders, work orders and quality records scattered across spreadsheets and separate tools. Carbon is a manufacturing operating system aimed at complex assembly, contract manufacturing, high volume and configure-to-order work, with its full source open.

  • The core is AGPL-3.0, but the Enterprise files (packages/ee and any file with .ee. in its name) are under a separate commercial licence, and neither licence covers the Carbon name or logos. The managed cloud is priced per user per month.
