A summary, not legal advice.

WHY IT MATTERS

Forgotten accounts and bulk mail pile up and it's hard to know where your data went. Paperweight reads your inbox to find accounts and mailing lists per service, and shows breach alerts and data-deletion requests.

BUILD FROM THIS

  • Works with Gmail, Microsoft, Apple, Proton (via Bridge) and IMAP. It finds accounts and mailing lists, shows breach alerts (haveibeenpwned.com) and offers bulk unsubscribe. It says mail and settings stay on your machine and nothing is sent to external servers; a scan takes about two minutes.

WHO IT'S FOR

Anyone who wants to clean up old sign-ups and marketing mail.

CAVEATS

  • The free tier covers one email account and discovery only. Unsubscribe and deletion actions, multiple accounts and MCP need a paid plan (a 30-day Cleanup Pass or yearly Pro). It reads your whole mailbox, so check the source and pricing before granting access.
