WHY IT MATTERS

The real question for a disk cleaner is not how much it removes but whether it removes the wrong thing; MangoDisk scans read-only by default, makes you review every item before deletion, uninstall or settings changes, and logs the result in Operation History. One app covers system and browser caches, developer caches such as Xcode, Docker and Node.js project build artifacts, local AI models, duplicate and large files, app leftovers, startup items and a treemap, and the cleanup rule library is published in the repository. It is built with Tauri 2 and Rust and has a Korean README.

CAVEATS

  • Licence GPL-3.0. macOS Monterey 12.5 or later and 64-bit Windows 10 or later (Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime 111.0.1661.62 or later required); no Linux build.
  • The README warns that cleanup, permanent deletion and uninstall may be irreversible and that some system optimisations can affect security, battery life or update behaviour.
  • AI explanations (since 1.1.0) come with free daily use in official releases plus an option to connect your own AI service; the exact free quota is [확인 필요].
