Some drivers have an iPhone but an Android-based car screen with no CarPlay. DiPlay is installed on the car and shows your iPhone's maps, music and messages, and says it needs no jailbreak, dongle, Mac or account.

## CAVEATS

- Licensed GPL-3.0. Not an Apple-certified product: it bundles an experimental accessory identity recovered from public Carlinkit firmware, and the README says its private key is extractable. Other brands are unsupported, the head unit must allow APK installs, this is a public preview (0.2.8) with occasional audio cutouts, and DRM video such as Apple TV+ is not supported.
